Who writes this site
Articles are written by the Revo Cleaner editorial team: writers who work with Windows desktop administration, application packaging and everyday PC troubleshooting. Guides are written for a general audience, not for system administrators only, so we favor steps you can follow on a normal home or office Windows PC.
How we research a guide
- We start from a real question people ask, such as how to remove a program that will not uninstall or where installed programs are listed in Windows.
- We describe the Windows interface as it currently ships in Windows 10 and Windows 11, including the exact menu paths.
- Where a third-party tool is mentioned, we describe the features the developer documents and nothing more.
What we do not do
- We do not publish invented benchmarks, ratings, awards, prices or user testimonials.
- We do not claim to have tested software on hardware we did not test.
- We do not copy or reword other publishers' articles.
- We do not create pages whose only purpose is to rank for a search phrase.
Accuracy, updates and corrections
Windows changes. Menu names move between builds and features are renamed, so every guide carries a last-updated date.
